Tabreed Bahrain is a private sector joint venture company owned by the National Central Cooling Company PJSC (Tabreed) of UAE, Esterad and A.A. Bin Hindi. Tabreed has been the pioneer in district cooling in the Gulf region, and has become the largest district cooling company in the world with operations in UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Oman and Kuwait.

Tabreed Bahrain currently employs 38 staff; a number that will exceed 40 by end 2009. Furthermore, the company has contributed in excess of BD 130 million to the Kingdom’s economy and infrastructure since its inception in 2004 and that figure is expected to double to over BD250 million in the next few years.
